Digital Health has the potential to advance the Sustainable Development Goals, to support health systems in all countries, and to ensure a greater impact on health and disease prevention. Emerging technologies are on the rise and have already made their breakthrough in health and humanitarian settings. The policy landscape is evolving and privacy regulations are changing how we collect and store information. To enlighten us, inspire us, and better prepare us for what’s to come, we have developed an event program to help shape dialogue, discussion, and action. We have thought leaders in the fields of data use and analytics, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence, policy/regulation, and sustainability. Learn how organizations can work together to solve challenges in the international humanitarian and development sector through technology-enabled solutions. Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

MSF France adopted DHIS2 as our medical-operational reporting platform in 2016. Currently, our Health Information System (HIS) is scaled up to over 65 projects in more than 20 countries. The organizations aim is to have all routine health intervention information be accessible and usable for decision-making and monitoring; this is even more important in unstable and emergency responses. We will go through the steps we took to implementing our HIS in 20 emergency projects, including conflict, displacement, epidemic, and nutritional crisis interventions. We describe the feasibility of implementing HIS rapidly and at emergency onset as well as the challenges and limitation faced. We will conclude with the ways forward that MSF starts implementing to facilitate HIS use in emergency responses.
