Digital Health has the potential to advance the Sustainable Development Goals, to support health systems in all countries, and to ensure a greater impact on health and disease prevention. Emerging technologies are on the rise and have already made their breakthrough in health and humanitarian settings. The policy landscape is evolving and privacy regulations are changing how we collect and store information. To enlighten us, inspire us, and better prepare us for what’s to come, we have developed an event program to help shape dialogue, discussion, and action. We have thought leaders in the fields of data use and analytics, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence, policy/regulation, and sustainability. Learn how organizations can work together to solve challenges in the international humanitarian and development sector through technology-enabled solutions. Breakout 13: WISCENTD: Integrating Data to Fight Against Neglected Tropical Diseases

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this session, we will present WISCENTD, a result of collaborative work between the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). WISCENTD is a platform that facilitates (and largely automates) the integration data and makes the preparation of data for the complex analysis transparent to the end-users. The session will include a high level overview of the entire project as well as more technical details of our platform. We will exemplify the use of WISCENTD over the current global health use case, i.e., the fight against Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) at WHO.
